River City Deep Mountain High

On Sunday 6th November John Comerford (aka Jack from River city) held a fundraising event in aid of Yorkhill Children’s Hospital.

This charity event was a great success and we raised over £3000 for Yorkhill Hospital and created great community spirit in The Regent Shopping Centre.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in making this event successful (see below).

Steve McKenna from Real Radio compered the event along with Barry from Cheeze Choonz entertaining the crowds.

Free drinks were issued with each ticket along with food from Avanti Restaurant and Get Stuffed Catering.

The evening incorporated a Fashion Show with hair and makeup @ Nicola Innes hair and beauty with Alice Rocks, River City cast members taking part, R factor winners singing along, dancers from Fame Academy and various vendors and promoters within the mall.

There were also face painters, magician, kids disco and arts and crafts along with ceramics for the children.
