The BIG Stampede Children's Art Competition

The BIG Stampede Children's Art Competition

The Regent Centre is happy to announce that it is a sponsor for The Big Stampede, Hamilton 2017.

Launching on the 23rd June, The BIG Stampede is a major public arts trail event which will see the streets of Hamilton and South Lanarkshire come to life with 30 large safari animal sculptures creatively decorated by local and national artists.

To celebrate, we’re running our own Big Stampede Children’s Art Competition for school children in the area with some great prizes to be won, including a grand prize of an iPad Mini

To take part in the competition, follow these steps:

  • Choose your favourite animal from The Big Stampede – you can choose from elephants, giraffes, lions, gorillas or rhinos – and download the template
  • Get colouring! Be as creative as you like and show us your best work
  • Make sure you write down your name and contact details on the top of your drawing – this is essential so that we can contact you if you’re a winner
  • Once completed, visit The Regent Centre and drop your entry in the dedicated Big Stampede competition box.

Terms and conditions

  • Closing date for competition is the 7th of August
  • All entries must be dropped into the dedicated box in The Regent Centre on or before that date
  • Entries are limited to 1 per child
  • Winner will be chosen by The Regent Centre Management and artists Thomas and Angela Nesbit and will be announced on Saturday 12th August

Good Luck!
